A Plea for cheaper Paint

Does anyone on here work @ the NPG site in Finmere, Bucks?

Im playing Rental this Sunday there with some mates and wondered if I (only me) could get paint at a cheaper rate?

I will still be using a Site gun as mine hasn't turned up yet but still, its just a query...

(ok, not really answering your question but...) I was there a few weeks ago - they run two models of marker there, but I wasn't paying attention and haven't a clue what they were... I do remember however that the side-loading, rear-cocking ones with the shorter barrels were less accurate than the other model, but maybe that's just me. If u could tell what they were that would be great, cos it's bugging me now...

Paint was about 6p/ball in quantities of 1000 (I managed to spend £180) which I thought was a *bit* much considering I did say beforehand I wanted at least a box...

The marshalls there were fantastic... if any of you are reading...

yeah, its £60 for a 1/2 Case (1000)

So much more expensive that Sparklies!

I can see tomorrow costing me at lease £100
£30 at the start
+ £60 for a case

Im gonna have to try to kerb my trigger happy tendancies.

Cheers for the heads up on the guns, i'll try and see what make they are. Do the better ones cost more? if so it might be worth the extra cost. I was originally going to be using my own gun there tomorrow, but I dont have it yet so I cant .

Bloody hell thats way too expensive. The site I use is 5p a ball or 4.5p if bought in bulk.

Great site, great prices, great marshalls oh and the food is ****

Nah, there are just two kinds of marker, not enough for everybody to have the same type, so it's first come first served, no difference in price... there was ONE double-triggered blue one there, but I never got my hands on that so I couldn't even see what that was... probably an old one belonging to the marshalls or something...

I didn't pay £30 entry though - I think I only paid £20... I did however drag a coachload of students from Leicester University with me so that might have lowered the price a bit...

Its already booked m8, so I can't change it, will have to try & come down sometime in the future tho

Poor dodgie has been car less so was back at finmere for a while I shall pass the complement on to him.


5p a ball is ok for punter paint but if you want to play reguarly then come join accademy and enjoy those prices when ever you play

I already have, I joined last month, unfortunatly though my mates wont drive to maidenhead otherwise we would come down for punterball days there.
