A massive Thank You from the Chicks

On behalf of the 6E Chicks, I'd like to say a great big "Thank You" to everyone who supported us & gave us money or goods to raffle for the NSPCC at the weekend.

Special thanks go to Jerry first & foremost for really getting into the spirit of the day - PGI took photos so just wait for the write up if you missed it, he was a sight to behold!

Next we'd like to thank all the teams who donated the paint they won as prizes, Shockwave for the hopper & John Bonich for the marker service all for Sparklie to auction off at the end of the day, and again Jerry & Diablo for yet more paint. Harry the Fish (Severe Paint no less) paid £500 for 10 boxes of Blaze (not 2 boxes as an earlier report said), and the bidding was hot for all the items.

We all had a great time (despite not getting in the trophys!) & everyone was sooo generous in their donations. We won't know exactly how much we've made this year until we all have our individual sponsorship monies collected in the next couple of weeks. We WILL post the amount up here once it's all been collected & counted. Hopefully there should be a few piccies floating around on the web as well shortly

I really, really think you wouldn't want to see some of them, they were very scary.
I just hope no-one took any photos of Jerry & Rob after our last game on the Raven field, it could put hardened players off for life!

Suffice to say, they stopped before we found out if Robn swallows!

Amount collected on the day from the collecting tins & the auction only - £874.56 Still need to add all the individual sponsorship stuff as well which will take a couple of weeks.
