A little help for an old Pumper (Ooh, err!)

My big brother used to play back in the day, and i have taken on the family honour and carried it forth. Problem is, he played with Splatmasters and a Bushmaster Pointman in the woods. I play with a cut and carved, customised Dark Angel on Sup Air, in international competition (generally). That said, we do sometimes meet in the middle ground and play a punter day together but i think the fast guns scare his old self (He's 37). Ideally i would like to find someone who is flogging a Bushmaster (or two) and who can point me in the direction of a tournament for such markers. Sup air tournie would be ideal, but i'm guessing if tournaments are still run for pump class, they'll be in the woods.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I thank you.

That's right- I'm currently undergoing a complex finger extraction process but I do plan to try and sort a competition out for early next year, perhaps in March before everyone gets too busy. I would be faster/more motivated but Ant beats me with a knotted rope if I don't get t'reviews in on time:(

As far as buying a pump marker goes, if you can live without a Bushy then Powerball are still selling the lovely Sterling pump in the UK and Mike Cassidy at CCI is still making all sorts of nice Phantoms over the water. . There's also the CCM pumps; I've not had hands on (hint, hint) but they are supposed to be top notch.

Thanks for the help guys.

Much appreciated. Not much going on for pump class these days then?

It would have been nice to suprise my bro with a marker similar to his old much loved baby, but another will do i'm sure. Any idea what a new or second hand pump would go for these days? I have no clue, and i wouldnt want to get my pants pulled down on the price.

Generally speaking, and at the moment, most pumps are going for buttons. I've got 3 as backups for big games- 2 Sterlings and a Trracer thing, before they were called Trracers.

Try a paintball site shop or eBay- there's loads on at the mo'- or the classifieds on this forum.

A good idea is to read the reviews on http://www.pbreview.com for whatever marker you've picked out.
I'd consider as more valid the views that are correctly spelled and punctuated, but then I'm a grammar snob...

Danger Zone(http://www.dangerzoneuk.co.uk ) does Sterlings for not a lot, usually with 12oz CO2.
