no bashing autocockers . Autocockers are great guns people just mess with them to much mine works great because i dont screw around with it i clean and oil it and thats it . Any gun has reliability issues if the owner repeatyeedly takes it apart and makes ajusments tehy dont understand .

i myself am an autococker owner. theres nothing like a $350 autococker w/ hinge trigger and a 14.in DYE boomstick. Autocockers dont suck. My cocker runs just fine...and i bought mine on ebay!. Those players you mentioned must not know how to take care of their gun. Maintainence isnt too much of a hastle just drop of oil here and there.

Sicknote,

thought you were getting a vision? please don't say you spent all that cash on a sewing machine but didn't get a vision!

And Cap - with 120 balls per game it's no wonder you didn't chop! fire rate in seconds per ball :)

People who mess with any gun without knowing what they are doing will have problems, doesn't matter if they've spent a 100 or 1000.

One of the lucky ones

I completely stripped down my cocker after the first time I played. After reading a few articles I thought I could handle it. I upgraded it, and have yet to encounter a serious problem. The only thing that screwed me up on the field was that I did not know that the cocking rod likes to come loose. Velocity dropped, timing was off and the bolt jammed. After tightening the rod, I've been fine. So far....:)

Cockers are like cars--they bring out the best and worst in people, more specifically they readily make visible both geniuses and morons. Yeah, if you're stupid and try to twiddle with a perfectly working Cocker (or even sometimes, rarely though if you spend money, when you don't) it will mess up and it won't work and you will look very stupid as you try EVERYTHING to make it work again. Owning an Autococker is a lot like seducing a woman: if you're going somewhere and pretty much know you're getting what you want, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND DON'T DO ANYTHING YOU'RE NOT DOING OR IT'LL STOP DOING WHAT YOU WANT.
