I agree with Beaker Matt, the AIR is best placed without a drop forward bolted right onto the grip frame.
In fact Beaker didn't you have some piccys on how a drop forward affects your grip when playing tight?
Matt if you've got a 1.1 bottle plant it on and away you go. It's comfy, (sort of
, and you can get your wrist in tight on it rather than curling around the bottle.
I think the 2 piece mount places it in the same position but is easier to remove. Then as it's a pain in the ass to switch off the system to remove it when full you might as well place it on and leave it.
After all unless you're swapping the AIR onto a spare marker what would you want to remove it for?
