I have just aquired a C&C Champaign Ir3 and Angel AIR 48ci.

The current tank pressure is only 528psi, is this even enough to shoot the marker?

I am new to this so a little guide to gassing up and the lowest pressure i can have in the AIR before it wont fire anymore?

Cheers

:D

Theres only one way to find out if its enough and that is to gas it up and find out :p

It will stop firing when it gets to zero, but im guessing at about 200ish

fit it yourself dude,

just unscrew the four screws on the a.i.r cover and pop the old batts out! my air had a short and the batts would only last , at most 3 days!
make sure the tank is empty when changing the batts, NOT because there is any danger, but more because when you put new batts in it takes the current pressure as zero, so if you had 1000 psi in the bottle, the guage will read low psi cos it has zeroed at 1000! so if you got a full 4500 psi fill it would only read 3500 psi! gettit?;)
but changing the batts is easy-peasy bud it will run on cr-2032 batts as well as the stated 2025's trust me, i emptied my local maplins of them!:D

I also heard an Angel Tech at one of the M25 Legs say that when you change the batteries in the A.I.R you need to change both at the same time, dunno if this is true but i suppose it makes sense.

I think the batteries are so low i cant empty the tank. Whats the best way to do it, because even if i turn the brass screw in, it still reads Lo-P on the screen when i turn it all the way in?

ok,

the brass screw on the end just controls your output pressure, the reason it is reading low-p is because the pressure in the tank is now below 200 psi ( the lowest the sensors will read, might be 250?) so twiddeling the little brass screw aint gonna empty it.
what i do is slowly unscrew the allan screw on the right hand side with the little silver plate under it (its an automatic safety release valve that leaks when your output pressure gets above 900 psi) un screw it slowly a half turn and you will hear the remaining compressed air seeping out.
now, mind that seeing as you have turned the little brass screw on the end, you have altered your output psi and will have to adjust it when you next fill your A.I.R , keep it around 650 psi (output) an you should be shooting sweet!:D
phew!;)

Thanks for that mate, am getting the batteries sorted at WDP on Monday. I will see if they can fill it and re-configure the shots remaining feature.

Because the battery is low, it might be a false reading on the screen so i am not trusting it until i get it changed.

Thanks for the help guys :D
