Hi All

After much deliberation myself and some of my mates have decided on taking up paintballing as a regular thing.

After looking at all the possible markers on the market, I have decided to buy the following:

Proto SLG
4500psi air tank
Halo B with V35 board

Considering we'll be doing a mix of woodsball and speedball type stuff would this be a good setup?

Thanks for any advice.
T.

sounds good. would be a good idea to take a look at the second hand stuff on here. could probably pick up what you want cheaply. also i suppose its down to opinion and i must admit i havent used an slg, but you can pick up a second hand etek 1 for about the 150-180 mark roughly. might be an idea to get one of those as they are simple to clean/take a part and really top notch markers.

I have a budget of £600 just for equipment, I have a reserve pot for paint, games etc.

I have seen a package that includes Proto SLG, 4500psi tank, mask, Halo B, 2000 balls, squeegee, battle pack and pots, proto jersey, proto pants.

£450

Seems reasonable to me and leaves me £150 to soend in the oub while I show off to the other guys who haven't got there stuff yet, lol.

thats a good package, I have the same but a 3k tank and a pulse. Just one thing, SLGs have a tendency to be vicious to paint.

I would say keep an eye on the for sale sections on these forums.
Lots of bargains pop up all the time.

LIPS is also a great place to get the kit you need if you really want brand new stuff.
