and also what does the screw on the front of the LPR do ? i think its the lpr anyway the bullet shaped article next to the solonoid on the front housing?

cheers

You can change your velocity by adjusting your inline reg or your IVG (the threaded bit in the bottom tube at the back of the marker).

The LPR controls the pressure of the gas being sent to the three way and ram, or cocking pressure.

You should read some articles like the ones here and learn as much as you can about your new marker.

Best not to do that on a cocker unless you realy have to, use the Adjuster at the back.

If as you say its a nexus, the should be a small hole next to the cockcing rob hole at the back of the gun. insert a 3/32 allen key into the hole and adjuste the grub screw ( if you can see it pull back teh back block ) anti clockwise for up in velosity and vce versa.

Again, if its a nexus, the screw on the lpr rasies and lower the cocking presures as Dr said. winding it out will be up in pressure, good for speed, but harder on the paint, wind in for lower, bit slower but softer one the paint.

Also if you're having problems with the marker bouncing lowering the cocking pressure can help.

much appriciated there guys cheers

how heres a question for ya, had it runnin today, ran sweet as a nut without the eye on but with the eye on, its really slow to cycle, you pull the trigger, the block goes back stays there for literally a second and then goes forward again.

i solved it this afternoon by re seating the halo, dont know if that was what made it run fine , maybe the balls were goin in at a slightly diff angle and the eye was reading them? when it was running it was flying. do i need to give the eye a clean?

any ideas?

Check your eye is working...if you go into the Menu on teh Grip frame...press centre button and hold till it sasy OFF...then use the other buttons to scroll up and down till you find EYE..hit teh middle button...then scroll to SHOW...hit teh middle button...should read something like 100 with a black delrin bolt forward...pull teh bolt back..should read 250 ish...drop a ball in and should read something like 8 or 10..depending on teh colour of teh ball.

Not sure why it wasnt working with the HALO...I assume the HALO was switched on?

Is teh marker new? If not, yes...pop teh eye out and give a gentle clean to front and back..also..if you think its fast with teh eye off...and its new (ie, hasnt been fiddled with) then...you aint sen nothing yet mate!! Factory settings with teh eye off are MAX 11 BPS...but that can be altered;)

If you want any help..I am usualy about somewhere...get me on MSN if you like.

its reading 223 with the black bolt forward about 250 with the bolt back and about 11 with a ball in the eye.

this an issue?

I'm confused here.
Once you sweetspot the inline regulator, you can then set the LPR by turning it out until your marker doesn't recock and then screw it in to where it recocks reliably. You're LPR is then set and should'nt be messed with unless you go through a variety of temperature changes when playing. If that is the case, you can then reset the LPR again to set it again.
