Anyone have a solution to going over to air. I have a shocker with vertical masx-flo. So would i just be able to get a screw in bottle, or if not, what would i need?

I need to do this as cheaply as possible cos im just a poor student :p

yup, sure thing. You can buy screw in bottles from loadsa places now.

National Paintball Fields sell Nitro ducks which are steel screw in bottles (look like CO2 bottles but longer)

Alternatively, try Chessel Paintball Supplies - they sell a tidy screw in Nitro system for about 130pounds I think and they have a website but I can't remember the address

u have 2 choices to get cheap air.

1. buy a pre-set bottle as Pikachu suggests at the low to mid 100's

2. buy a second hand angel air, max flo, armageddon etc for a bit more (200 ish)

whilst the second one will cost you more in the short term it will be more flexible in the long run. you also need to consider how you are going to fill the bottle unless you are lucky enough to have a site that provides air (ooohhhhh heaven :D )

i have a shocker and its the biggest gas guzzler on the planet..... im sure its single handedly killing off the o-zone layer all by its self

why o why wont the wonderfull people who invented the shocker come up with a variation that doesnt consume so much c02

There are improvements which make the Shocker consume much less air. First is a Custom Products 14" one piece barrel...that alone increases your shot count by 300 shots per tank fill. Avoid any barrel that doesn't give you 8-9 inches of unported straight bore. The only 2 piece I would recommend for a Shocker is the Armson SSR, which has 9 straight unported inches and the front piece is bored .693 rather than .700. Also, there is a bolt face for the Shocker that is more open rather than the scant venturi stock face which is grossly outdated...look at it at www.animalpaintball.com.

I recommend an 88 or 114 4500 screw in, either by Nitroduck, Crossfire, or PMI.
