It makes sense. They are both made of the same kinda thing right? So even better y not just get a plastic stick, (you know, the kind you just happen to have) and stick a rag on the end. Or is there something magical about xpensive ones I dont know.

I often find poodles tails good for pullthru's and heads to clean any breaks in my hopper or pots.

Wouldn't frozen ones be useless? Their fur would be hard but you want soft defrosted fur. Actually, you probably were thinking of something else

i only freeze them until their unconcious, that way they dont move around when positioning

Try a tampon, they are excellent for absorbing paint and fluff cleans the barrell, one thing you have to do is attach longer string
