essential for the game but can be bloody expensive, ive found a site where it will burn less of a hole in your wallet

you can get a pack of 10 for under £9, cant say fairer than that

I wouldn't use the budget batteries that are sold there for 9 quid.

They just arent suitable for high drain devices such as hoppers, they lose most of their power after a few minutes continued use.


At £4 delivery the duracells arent that impressive a deal either.

best deals ive found are definetly planet, £20 for 10 procell 9v, excellent batteries, the 9v lasted 3 m25 tournies and campaign for me, just have to remember to turn your hopper off after a game etc.
and 10 AA procells for £4 bargain!

I still use the procells that I got in my hopper, second hand! Bit pricey upfront but last for ages, and turning the hopper off does help (cue comments about only lasting a minute in a game anyway)

get yerselves some NimH 9v rechargables from www.budgetbatteries.co.uk, they are very powerful and you can recharge them after every tourney and will easily last the season!

i get procells off ebay just search for procell and there are a few companys selling them cheaper than planet and arrive next day!
