I have quite a few of them and they are 9.6v however the failure rate is a bit severe
2 of the 11 i've bought have had a cell fail and dropped to 8.4v and one refuses to hold any charge at all.

The good ones are great but a bit dissapointed with all the dud's.

One thing to note if your using a Vlocity is that they stop working at around 7.8v to 7.9v (voltage remaining on each battery) so 8.4v rechargables are virtually useless with this loader.

The batteries removed from a Vlocity will power a marker just fine for quite a while, not that i'd recomend using them for anything other that training though.

The Vapextech AAA's work very well in a halo, 8 of them soldered in series with a battery lead attached will power a halo for 4 or 5 cases and are only 2/3 the weight of 6AA's. Charging is a bit tricky as you'll need a charger that allows you to select the number of cells as well as the charging current to get the best from them.
