9/16" nut on ION in-line regulator

Has anyone got a good quality 9/16" box spanner they wanna flog, or know best place to pick up one ASAP? I'm trying to strip and service the reg on my ION and none of my sockets work. Either they aren't deep enough to get past piston shaft, or the won't grip the flats as the nuts too thin

Not wanting to appear aggressive, but have you tried Mole Grips?

I usually have an exsension bar from the socket to the ratchet as deep well socket's can be a pain to find, particularly imperial.

Best place to try is a car shop type place, place's that deal with imperial sizing, Halfraud's don't have any

The Sockets for Spark plugs might do it, if you can find a 9/16th

Thats about 15mm isn't it?

go to a garage and take your rg with you and ask them if they have one i garentee you they will have one and get them to undo it but make sure you tell them its a left hand tread hope this helps , or go to the bearing man he will have one aswell

halfords should have em, i bought mine from there, had to buy a set so it was £15 but still, i needed it on the day.

i went in to halfords they didnt use imperial so sold me the socket for 50p out of one of their own tool boxes.
