80's/90's Arcade Help

Back when i was a lad there was a game out on the arcades where you would run from side to side "popping" bubbles/balls . Each time you popped one it would split in half etc.

i always thought it was called Pong.

Anyone got any info on it?
Would really like to play it again.

you need to download and install mame to run this.

ahh yes, brings back memories ...

Not sure if those were available in the uk till mid 80's ?
I can remember my cousin picking a couple of those up during a visit to Hong kong early 80's.
