Did u find you had better grouping and less drop off after adding the 6 stage???

I've just ordered a 32* one for my mag, and was hoping it will help my drop off prob.

Not sure about the drop off, but I do get good groupings, and I must admit when my tanks almost empty I still get good velocity, or is that the drop off. Oh you know what I mean..bad day at work my heads completly F:eek:KED up. Sorry.

Not sure about North Vs South yet want to go but my wife got a spog onthe way and it's due early March, so she doesn't want me to go. I'll be at Marchbrook next week!

its not the velocity, however when i chrono it, i tend to try and get an average of 280, as its very inconsisitant, and can to +/-20fps, which could be my problem. Althought i never seem to be firing "snow" like with my shutter...

hummmm..

That's one thing I don't get, you don't get snow out of the barrel, but you do get vapour on cold days. I must admit I have found the Velocity at the chrono to be a little on the unprdictable side. I have talked to people about getting a reg, but I always get the response No, because the Mag has it's own. But to how well it really works is another question. Wacky velocities can be put down to a bad Reg Seat or there a prob with the reg spring.

shame i can't make it to marchbrook. I dunno any other mag owners in real life, and working out solutions to problems i have with it are quite hard when your trying to perform something in writting that seems quite simple, to it getting way over your head :)

For example, i don't really wanna take the reg apart, and would prefer to watch someone with Mag exp do it first so i can see how its done, and what parts to look at when a problem arises. As with all things in life expericence rules the roost, and where mags are concearned i don't have half as much as i'd like :|

thanx for the hints anyway mate..

Not a problem mate, Have you got the video that came with your Mag, I learnt 90% of everything from that, even though it's little out of date. The other 10% from here and automags.org. I found it helpful not to worry too much about breaking the mag, it's quite robust, most probs can be put down to faulty O-rings. If it's anything else it's prob quite major and you would have to send it back to AGD. Remeber you have one free service, if the star on the Reg hasn't got a stamp through it.

if you'd do a copy and sent it to me i'd glady pay for the tape + p&p if you'd be so kind.

Must admit i have mucked around with the mag alot, and never really messed it up. well nuffing i can't sort out ;)

not looked for the stamp. I thought it was on the ext of the vavle :?

My Mag was second hand and had no vid. Goto the AGD website. www.airgun.com Click the Airgun Europe link and find the main number. Give them a ring tell them you've bought it second hand with no video or manual. Usually you get it with two days FOC. You cannot survive with the manual, and theres copies of it on the web if you need a second copy. AGD must have the best after sales support I have ever known. The star is at the back on the marker, I can't remember if its where it says 68 Automag or on the other side which the line goes in.

Remeber to register your marker as well, you can do it online or when you get your manual there will be a form there.
