5peed Board Prob

i've been having battery probs on my 05 speed, when the battery is connected to the board. It doesnt always actually get to the board and i have to knock the battery in a certain place and even then it doesn't always work.

Do you guys know whats wrong and what i can do to fix?

also, i've threaded a screw on my eye cover, and i've tried what i can but it wont undo. What should i do for this also? as my eye is dirty

For the eye screw, I use a centre punch to drive the head anticlockwise. But be careful.
