50rd hoppers...... best in uk?

Thought this might be a good place to ask
Whats a nice 50rd hopper available to purchase in the uk?

if you use one, how happy are you with yours?

Winchester 48 round hopper, just stick an old flip top/lock lid top on the end and you're sorted.

I was using this type until I broke the lid


And I kind of fixed it with an old pod lid as an emergent repair,from this style of pod with a 'neck/lid'



But have now replaced it with this

used to have winchester ones, but they are long gone, and i need 2 hoppers that match!

The first one @tommikka mentions is the easiest one to find in the UK. Feeds pretty well, though the lid does suck. You can pick them up for £3.50 from Demon. The Americans have an upgraded 'deluxe' version with a better lid, but it just looks like a pod lid stuck on to the normal hopper much like his fix!

Top ones are good, bottom ones feed awful!

Tah dah, old school Indian Springs lid, lip removed on hopper, couple of holes drilled and a couple of 'Chicago screws' (also excellent for JT ears)
Superb little hopper now needs a proper 1" throughout elbow and not a 1" to 7/8" that it comes with
