5 Man Woodball Holmbush 6th July

Due to popular demand we are taking 24 teams for next event with new prices and few improvements to the event so hope you like.

green fee with 1 box of paint will be £55
with free tea and coffee.
total price for team £275 with 5 x boxes paint
after this its byo or pre book paint for £27.50 or 5+boxes for £25
the games will be flag to flag games and each team should play no less than 8 games each.Also we will play big game at end of the day 40 plus per side.
gates open at 8.30 latest arrivals 9.00 after this no teams will be allowed entry this is important to remember.

I may be missing something here... but why have prices increased from £50 a player up to £55, and how can this be justified?

I thought the whole ethos of this series of Holmbush 5 man events was to try & make it more affordable for teams to compete not less?

The extra £5 is for the extra 13 marshals we need also the air system is changing so we can fill ourselves hope this is ok with you lol.Its only £5 big games are £45 for nothing so £55 with paint is a good deal still but if its to much for you then give it a miss as we have loads of teams for this event.hopefully see you there.

Hi,

Well, the main piece of information you will want is that, yes, we have decided to cancel the 5-man tourny at Holmbush on the 6th July.

We would like to thank the few teams that have fully paid as asked and to those who paid deposits in plenty of time. We are contacting you for full refunds / credit on the 6th July walk-on game.

Whilst there are a few reasons for this the main one is that we cannot be certain of how many teams would have been turning up on the day.

We apologise to anyone else who had plans to attend this tourny, but without viable numbers it simply is not possible to give you the level fun you expect at a Holmbush event.

We don't want to upset our regular walk-on players by cancelling their day aswell, So we are running our normal walk-on with a couple of added extras.

As said before, we have the new 4 station air fill rig up and running for you guys.
We can run a mini 4-way fun tournament if you like and still keep large numbers per side.
A few new games will be introduced, give us some feed back - let us know if you enjoyed them !

Hope to see there as per usual.

Guys its a shame more teams did not support this event as it was the only 5 man woodball in the south of uk and ross and neil have worked with me to keep this event going.Many thanks to teams that booked and tried to help out with this event.
As said above we will still be having some fun on the day with some planned formats of games which even ime in the dark on this lol sounds interesting.
