Hi there i have a 32 degrees bottom line On/Off.

I am not sure but where u turn the gas on and off, on the right with the screw nob, do u have to have a o-ring around the thread at the screw's head, because i just got it and there isn't one there, but there is a small grove that looks like there should be one there. i would guees you would need one to stop gas escapeing.

Cheers

I got one of those, but I dont understand which bit you are on about...

Externally, you have a knob, then a brass screwy bit, then the bottom line. There is no oring on the brass screwy bit externally.

Internally if you look back at the bottom line (as if you were screwing a bottle in), you can see the pin depressor which spins when you turn the knob. Do you mean an o-ring around that?

Or does the screw on/off nob create and strong enough seal so the gas doesn't escape, cos i understand that when u do up the nob it pushs the pin depressor onto the reg and allows gas to flow :p.

Checked out your pic.

There should not be an o-ring there. The seal is created on the inside of the bottomline section I believe.

On another note, I ended up blue-loctiting the inside thread of the brassy bit to the bit inside the bottom line as I found that the knob would unscrew the thread instead of the pin depressor.

Hope that helps.

O i just understood the part you where saying ur blue-loctiting

On another note, I ended up blue-loctiting the inside thread of the brassy bit to the bit inside the bottom line as I found that the knob would unscrew the thread instead of the pin depressor.
does that allow u still to undo the screw enough to stop the pin opening the reg and bottel :D or not :p

cheers
