Today (20/11/11) was the 2nd eround of the M.P.L Winter Series at Basildon's Combat Uk site, where there was orginally 7 teams booked in but 2 pulled out at the last minute. That didn't dampen the day even though it was really foggy.
The games started at 9.30am once the fog had lifted a little, there was some really great moves from most of the teams like a Deano Dynmino player running straight for the flag and turning orange as he came out for the centre M. A Impact player made a lovely run down the left hand snake, and we can't forget the poor guy from Mayhem Knights who took 2 laps around the field looking for the opposition before realising that he was the only player left then he grabbed the flag and hung it, but we will let him off as it was their first tournament.
