2nd hand air bottles

i heard that they are dangerous and 2 people have been killed by them but i bought one and it has been fine i just wanted to know if anyone has had problems with 2nd hand air bottles just for my own peace of mind

Normally, as long as they're in test and have no physical damage you should be ok.

if you stick to trusted sellers you should be ok

yeah well mine is in test but i am trying to prove they are safe to my friend so i was trying to find anyone who have had problems

If the regulator has not been removed and there is no visual damage you can be pretty certain you will be safe!

if they look as tho they have been tampered with, leave well alone, but as others have said, if test in date, should be fine, we have a few 2nd hand bottles and all have been fine
