2nd gun

Well i can`t wait for the north v`s south but ,as i`m sure others are doing, i want to make sure i have a decent enough back up gun if (and proabably) my mag goes down on the day.

I have dug out the totally original spyder from the bottom of my kit bag and decided that it just wont do.

Soooo what do people reckon, it is even worth upgrading my bog standard spyder or shall i just discard it for spare parts and buy another spyder ...................... (insert ideas)

Depends on your budget,

If you have loads a cash why not get a Shutter or summat like that and use the old one for spares?

If you are on a tight budget use what you got and just buy a few parts to make it work again

TBH i haven`t really got a budget at all, just looking for what`s going to be best., anyone know who stocks the spyder these days ??

Tippmann all the way. They can take more abuse at the bottom of your gear bag than anything else then gas up and shoot without any complaints.

I heard about one that got dropped into a stream (realy muddy) it was pulled out later and ran ok

They did a test with a tippman and ran it over with a car!

It still worked with no damage

I have to agree on the tippman advice. I've been playing paintball for about 12 years and know people who are still shooting the tippman they bought 6-8 years ago. If your budget can handle it go tippman.

My only greif with the Tippman is the trigger, all the ones I,ve tried have a VERY stiff pull but of course some ppl like a stiff pull
