2k2 Timmy Vs Shocker?

I'd like an opinion on what people think is better, a 2k2 timmy with a few mods and a new WAS 2.8 board, or a vision shocker.
And whats the difference between 2k2 timmys and more up top date one's.

Here's the 2k spec:

- 2k2 DYE Wrap Around Sticky Grips.
- 2K2 Gauge cracked, but works.

Ok you need to break this baby down:

Timmy is ram opperated which appears to be an industry favourite whilst Shocker is spool valve'd like matrix's which are gas hogs but have no kick and no real moving parts apart from the bolt.

The timmy has breakbeam eyes which are better than the shockers reflective eyes.

in all fairness the timmy your looking at seems to be more of a frankinsteins monster which would worry me a bit - also being in a classic body, i cant see it being worth much.

Shockers seem to be holding well on the market - i would say a timmy over a shocker by far but that particular timmy i'd certainly think twice

Cheers, after much digging the 2k2 in question is a classic timmy with a load of 2k2 upgrades. They guys only wants about $400 and I can see why. Got my eye on another TRUE 2k2 which looks pretty good, but I do have my heart set on a shocker. I want both but I'd have to sell the kids first on ebay

I just don't know.

Can the bodies (and/or internals) be changed to the newer one's, like the alias. Just wondering what the difference between 2ks and newer Alias/Post 2k2 timmys is?

you can buy the frames which put your lcd in the grip frame

internal wise i have no idea
