i'm looking for a new hopper (as i have an etek now) i would love to spend £80+ on a Pulse, B2, Vlocity etc. But i do not have that.

for £50 odd i can get an egg III (Evolution III).

with new rules droping Bps to 15 and under, even at some walkons, is there any reason to buy the more expensive hoppers. or is there any reason not to buy the Egg.

thanks

Eggs are prone to breaking their battery lids and don't feed as consistently as the reloaders/halos etc etc.

In theory no there is no reason to buy a 25bps loader, but in practice things are slightly different.

Nothing wrong with the old eegy's as such (i kept mine as a backup) as dusty said the battery doors can be a bit flaky unless you do the battery connector mod (simple bit of soldering really) which negates this 'flaw'. Some people find them a bit back heavy but I never had a problem with mine.
OK they're not as good as a halo/reloader etc but you can often pick one up on the forums for £20-£30 whereas a good condition halo/reloader is £40-£50. You pays your money you takes your choice.
