Okay, so I have a 2003 SFT Shocker with a red splash anno. Now, SUPPOSEDLY, SP made 10 of these splashes in 2003 for a team, and the team never actually purchased them (it was not a pro team AFAIK). Each marker was a different color, and I have seen a black one and the guy who owned it was told the same story I was when he bought it. The shop I bought it from was offered another one from the same lot the next year, but he didn't take the offer as he didn't think he could sell it bc he thought the Nerve would take off and leave the shocker behind (hahahaha).
As far as I can remember, the only thing not stock on the gun is the 03 Shocker/Nerve Roller Blade trigger, blackheart chirp board, a set of SP sticky grips, a SP drop forward and an unbranded on/off.
The rest is stock, and the only problem with her is that the grips are so brittle that they're just crumbling near the screws and will need to be replaced.
It came with an All American black back with the tip anno'd to match. The anno was done BY Smartparts before selling ONE of these markers to the shop I bought it from brand new.
There's some gunk near where the grips were, but that seems to clean off easily, and there isn't a scratch on it and VERY minimal breach wear. I was always SUPER careful with it after I met the guy with the black one because I really do think it was a limited run for 2003 and I didn't want to scratch her up
Enough rambling, I think I am FINALLY ready to part with the marker after not using it for competetive play since around 2005, lol. If someone can jump in with some knowledge about whether it might be a limited run or some sort of price range on this baby, that'd be great.
