hmm, i think you will find that becuase the revi blades work as an agitator rather than a true impeller (even the so called impeller) speeding the servo up will result in more ball jiggling and a small increase in speed, rather than a direct increase in speed.

Any gravity fed hoppers can only feed at 12-13 bps.

Normal 12 volt revi's are sometimes called 18V 'cos its run by 2 9V batteries (but regulated to 12V output).

correct me if I'm wrong :)

I may well be talking out of my arse here (nothing new there then). But I thought I read somewhere, that when viewloader first released the 2 x 9v battery revvy it was 18v (because of the 2 x 9 volts). Apparently this caused problems with overloading the motor so they stepped it down to 12v (with little or no effect to the speed)

just my 2p
