ive seen one, the Revvy power, which is 18V, it can supposedly do 18bps...... it takes 3 9v batteries, and the 3rd one strap onto the bottom of the other 2, instead of the battery lid

so its all the same size except the bottom where the 3rd battery is attached

How can it do 18bps? It still must spin like a normal revvy hence limiting the ball feed rate to around 12-13!

hmm, i think you will find that becuase the revi blades work as an agitator rather than a true impeller (even the so called impeller) speeding the servo up will result in more ball jiggling and a small increase in speed, rather than a direct increase in speed.

Any gravity fed hoppers can only feed at 12-13 bps.

Normal 12 volt revi's are sometimes called 18V 'cos its run by 2 9V batteries (but regulated to 12V output).

well ok but i did talk to a guy that ran a Power Revvy on his mag, and it had 3 9v batteries hooked on

it was an actual authentic Revvy make aswell, as the shell had the stuff pressed and engraved on the sides etc

I may well be talking out of my arse here (nothing new there then). But I thought I read somewhere, that when viewloader first released the 2 x 9v battery revvy it was 18v (because of the 2 x 9 volts). Apparently this caused problems with overloading the motor so they stepped it down to 12v (with little or no effect to the speed)
