been looking for up to date info on testing of the small 13 cu tanks, do they need to be tested every 5 years or are they still exempt

Still exempt as far as I've heard. Even if they aren't it isn't worth testing one as unless you know someone who does tests cheap a new bottle isn't more than a couple of quid extra.

got one used only a few times but its just gone past 5 years, not a mark on it. just checking its still usable if not I will bin it and get a new one.

As long as it's pi marked then you're cool

The cylinder may be marked for 5 years, but the chances are it would be aluminium (of the right grade) and valid for 10

But due to the capacity at only 13ci it is still exempt. So if condition looks good whenever it's used then you're fine
