Where did the notion that people can just drop in on peoples threads (in this instance classifieds) and demand that people either

1 - put uk in the title
2 - show a picture "other wise you wont sell it" etc
3 - show a picture with some kinda "evidence" ie a piece of paper with the persons name on it?

Fcuks sake, if people wanna make a thread to sell something its up to them what they decorate that thread with (such as photos) which is often dictated by their actual ability (or lack thereof) to do so.

Since when was it a requirement? Particularly with this whole "my name on paper in the pic" bobbins...

I for one am bored of "noobs" for want of a better term upsetting the fine balance of friendly buying and selling we have in the P8 community.

I've noticed that often the people who are adding these pearls of wisdom to threads either A) have sold sweet FA on the forums, or B) have been a waste of space in doing trades themselves

Tell me I'm not the only one thinking this

(hoping this has some replies by morning so I have something to read when I get to work :D )

I blame orlando, he seems to have started this whole thing about d|cking around on other people's for sale threads. Since then all the newbies after browine points seem to keep doing it over and over. Rules have been tightened up on the classifieds board and the offending feckers seem to take it upon themselves to enforce such rules...

I say nail the lot of em to trees.

To demand this is a bit much but to request it seems reasonable, if you are suspicious that a deal may be too good to be true then it is a good way to prove that at least the seller has the item. Particularly when the seller is new/unknown on the forums. Especially with all the scaming and stuff happening recently. And to request a picture of an item before you buy it seems only sensible, personally i wouldn't buy anything major like a marker etc, without either seeing it in person or at least in a picture.

Just my 2p

yeah, it may come across as a bit rude..... and untrustworthy

but if i was buying a marker i wouldnt want to take a chance with 500 quid of my hard earned cash... not that any second hand marker actually goes for that price :p (aside from wgp4lifes uberwtfpwn shocker) (vague statement i know some do...)
