07 ego qev diaphragm issue,

seems my 07 ego keeps eating qev diafragms.

The issue is the diafragms breaking at a particular point. Not sure of the technical name, but it is the area between the solid centre part and the cone.

Ive included a picture of where its broken. My only concern is that this is now the third time its happened, any advice..help..or indeed anyone with a spare diaphragm...

I recently put a Star Frame on my Etek, after using it for 2 games it packed up.

Took it to Planet who sorted it out. They said the QEV diaphram had failed and they now have some with a harder rubber compound so avoiding this happening in the future.

Might be worth calling them.

phoned planet, it was purley a diafragm issue. as always excellent customer service

for reference..if any is being taken, symptoms were ;
-the gun behaving as if it was in training mode.
-distinct popping noise when fired
