06 Ego LP Bottle reg

Hey,

Just wondering if an 06 Ego will work with a bottle with LP reg or will the recharge rate not be high enough. Preferably like to hear from someone who actually uses this setup

it will work fine with LP.

its been done many times.

it will run on LP but crossfire regs are the way forward, they have the best recharge of all LP regs. Using anything else you may encounter shootdown, inconsistancies etc.

HP is much better but if you dont have it no worries.

when i tried an angel lp preset, it was fine on an 05, but not on an 06 ego.

I believe the 06's have a larger expansion area in the front reg, which would mean a low pressure bottle reg would have to work harder to maintain the required sustained pressure under high rates of fire.

the reg holds a larger volume = lower pressure.
at high rates of fire I saw dramatic shootdown

no comment on a crossfire personally, but team mate shooting LP crossfire had zero issues.
