05 Ego firing rate?

i have an 05 ego sec hand, and i dont really know any thing about them :confused:

I've been looking through the menu's on the gun and i think the gun is stock, the software is 1.00?? but what should the firing rate be?? when i go to the BPS set up it only allows me to take it up to 15bps is this right??

I can only find info on the 06/07 the 06 says it can hit 30bps??

Can anyone help? i would like to know a bit about the marker as i've also got a invert mini and im looking at selling one but want to know about the ego first,

I've found a few places that sell up-grade boards but will it help?

Manuals actually pretty useless when it comes to the board...

What you have, are 4/5 modes, semi 1, semi 2, ramp 1, ramp 2 and maybe ramp 3 (not sure on a 1.00, got a 1.08 myself).

When you hit that 15.4bps limit, thats your limit in all modes exept semi 1, which is uncapped semi, and is only capped if you set an eyes-off rate and turn the eyes off. As its a tournament gun, semi 2 and all the ramps are tournament modes (like PSP, millenium etc.) and are therefore capped, semi 1 is the only one where you've got unlimited rates of fire, and dependant on your fingers, might even hit 30bps.

Annoying you cant ramp merrily away at 25bps I know, you could if you stuck in an aftermarket board, but I personally dont see the point of sticking one in just to ramp to stupid non-tournament legal speeds. Would rather put it in semi1 and get the trigger bouncing :D

that rof is the off rof probably, which tops out at 15

all egos ever regardless of the board version are UNCAPPED IN SEMI

any ramp modes will be 15bps (unless you have an 07 ego or maniac board, which allowed up to 25bps in ramp mode / uncapped ramp)
