Hi,

Im looking to get a 0.8 3000psi bottle to start out with.
I`ve noticed there is generally Pure Energy, DXS & unbranded air bottles around to get at various prices.

Just wondering if there is any difference between the brands and which should I go for?

DXS is quite a lightweight tank, slightly heavier the pure energy comes with.

Most the unbranded stuff is Luxfer, still a good company in my opinion, all go through same testing just make sure it comes with a good reg which both the pure energy and DXS do, but if you can stretch to get a carbon wrap 4500 one, do so especially if your oing to play sup air.

Hope that helps a little

I'd go for a carbon fibre wrap bottle regardless of whether you're playing woodsball or sup-air, i feel that the knowledge of having a better constructed and safer bottle puts a lot of ease on the mind, and there's never really worries of "over filling" your bottle and having a burst disc go bang! Sure they're more expensive, but worth it in the end. Plus if you do buy a 3000psi tank, you're more than likely to upgrade to a 4500psi fibre wrap bottle at one point or another..... so what's the point in buying the steel tank in the first place?

And no, it doesn't really matter what manufacturer you buy your bottle from.

Cost.
Also theres a walkon this Sunday that I want to goto seeing as there is no others around here.
So its a choice between getting a 0.8 bottle this week and attending my first walkon or buying a 1.1 fibre wrap and having to wait till next month to actually use it.

In that case is there nobody you can borrow a steely off ? purhapse the site might lend you one, or rent one for a small fee ? best of both worlds then.

Sadly I dont know anyone whom is going to the walkon (Im going alone).
As for asking the site to lend/rents one, cant hurt to ask, will do later.
