Etek1 has got slow airflow

Hi,
I just stripped down my etek1, cleaned it and put it back together. After that the air flow has slowed down , so when I take a shot it it builds enough air for the first couple of shots but then the air flows not quick enough to maintain that when I walk the trigger; the air starts to make the balls go about 20ft and the longer I walk it the shorter they fall until there going 5-10ft. It seems all cleaned up. What could cause this. QEV? Micro tubing? I really don't know.

The sooner. Can get help the better. Planets tech staff are not in until Monday so if I can sort today I'll be very happy.

Cheers.

Do you hear a leak? QEV is the most likely, but make sure your reg isn't screwed in/out all the way, check your macroline for blocks and check the microline that runs between your body and frame for splits.

Oh dear, my bad, I'd assumed it was an 05/06/07/08 design. It still has an exhaust valve though, it's just in the rammer housing instead. Ignore my comment about the QEV then, I dunno how the etek1 design stands up.

Thanks all

Thanks everyone, great response. Never used the techroom, nice to see people rather spend there spare time being useful rather than going on other topics to flame kids or whatever. Not a single piss taker in the thread, mind you that's probably to do with the question.

In the end I took apart the LPR and the reg and checked over how I assembled it. No mistakes there, except one of the springs in the LPR was slightly off centre. The end is supposed to rest on a shoulder in the LPR body and it wasn't sitting flush to it, so after correcting that I put it back together and it started firing consistently :)) all I did then is keep adjusting the LPR and reg with a chrono on hand :)

cheers guys

p.s yeah I use superglue...is that a problem????....no, planet gun oil

pretty sure if you read the manuals it tells you specifically which parts need which lube.

Always since forever EGOs and ETEKs have only ever used light gun oil on the rammer orings.

dont blame planet, read the manual.
while your at it read the part about servicing your solenoid now cos of that...
