Formats
CPPS M7 Super League. Entry is £260 per round (after rd 3)
This is the Millennium SPL format, race to 4 points 5 man xball format. Each team will recieve 4 x 10 min matches at each leg.
Depending on number of teams entered will depend on the exact format.
Ideally planned to have a prelim round and a finals stage. Eg if 9 teams are entered then they will be pre seeded into 3 groups with the top 3 in the league as a seed in each group. Teams will play 2 prelim matches then be re grouped into a winners group (winner of each of the first 3 groups) and 2 consolation groups. That way all teams get 4 x matches and we also get an event winner on the day and a finishing place for each team.
CPPS M5 Premier League. Entry is £200 per round (after rd 3).
The CPPS M5 divison structures and how it works. Ver 1
Ok this is the low down guys on whats what and how it works......i hope.
As a quick note all teams invited into the top 2 divs are required to play all events as they are a locked divisions. If you cannot play all events you cannot play the locked divs. If a team surrenders its place then it will be offered to the next highest placed team respectively. Placings cannot be bought or sold.
Only the conference is an open division which is not required to have every event played.
M5 Premier League.
The top 12 teams will compete for the M5PL title in a locked division. Now to save confusion this race 2 format is NOT xball. It is actually a best of 3 format without a timed turn around period. Their will be at least 1, if not 2 matches between each teams game to give teams time to prepare for next match. Each match will be a standard M5 format match. Teams will recieve a minimum of 10 matches, possible 15 matches per event.
Teams will play each other over the season as follows.
Prelims and Finals each event.
Teams will be snake seeded into 4 groups of 3 teams in each group, and play each team in a race 2 format(as above).
They will then be ranked into 3 finals groups of 4 teams per group.
The winner of each group will go into the group A.
The runners up will progress into group B, and third in group into group C
Teams will then play each team in their group in a further race 2 format. Ranking points will then be assigned based upon your final place. Group A = 1st-4th pos, Group B 5th-8th, Group C 9th-12th.
The bottom two teams will be relagated into the Championship at the end of the season.
M5 Championship.
The next 18 teams in the CPPS will compete in the M5Ch.
This will be a standard 5 man format. No race 2, just teams will play each other as usual.
Teams will be snake seeded into two groups of 9 and play 8 matches per event.
At the end of the season the winner will be promoted, and a further 3 going into a round robin play off against each other for a final promotion place.
The bottom 3 will be relagated into the conference.
M5 Conference.
This is the open division and the only way into the locked divisions. At the end of the season the top 2 teams will be promoted into the championship, with the next 4 (positions 3-6th) going into a play off system for the last promotion place.
These are the teams that have qualified to play the following leagues: All teams are requested to confirm there spot, ideally by email so we can email them a new rosta and disclaimer which we would like filled out prior to next event and emailed back to us.

Teams entering more than one squad will be offered a 30% discount of the second squad entered into the league.
The 3 man.
Due to the higher than expected volume of teams entering this years CPPS we have a problem with space for this format. This format will depend on team entries prior to each round and will only be played if there are sufficient entries/space available.
Payment and deposits.
Payment is cash or cheque by prior arrangement only. We wil also accept bank transfer in advance.
A deposit of £75 is normally required but is subject to status. Deposits are non refundable.
Sometimes we allow a team to book in and pay on the day but this is at our descretion. If the team is allowed to book in witout deposit then they are bound by the following terms. Team withdrawl five days prior to event then they are liable for a £75 fee. Withdrawl with less that 48 hours notice or no show are liable for full entry fee.
Referee Assesment Scheme.
We intend to not only assist in the training of new refs but also monitor and help improve the current refs in the system. This way we can insure that we have available the best referee's possible and that the highest standards are maintained.
We plan to have the refs all wearing numbered jerseys which will help keep records of any issues that arrive. If there is a problem a player can simply make a note of there number and we will record the issue and follow it up and then make any neccersary adjustments. Minor issues will not be permanently recorded but if there are any major niggles a record will be kept so if it persists we know we have a problem that needs more attention. This is not designed to undermine the refs as the guys we use do their upmost to perform for you guys as customers and for there own personal pride and rep. What we hope is that by doing this we can help improve the over all standard of referees.
Long term plan.
We hope that if we get things right we are building a structure into our events that will over time give a stable platform for all teams across all formats to develop and progress in the game. Some of the plans/ideas may seem overly complex or silly but there is a method to al off it. Whilst in talks with some of the sports bodies/councils from last year they all came back with a similar view on paintball. There is no kind of measurement of progression, or any real structure to it. What we hope is to slowly build and integrate this into our events.
The main philosphy for Balls Out Promotions is to put on events that are first of all enjoyable, but offer value for money and to be safe. Your hobby has to be fun otherwise you may as well stay at home! This doesnt mean we cant try and build the structure into a sport or at least into more defined activity but not at the expense of having some fun along the way.
The current MTPC site was built as a short term option which has served it purpose uptil now. We are currently looking into developing a new facility that wil service a wide variety of needs for the paintball community. The very foundation of this is built on the teams that currently play and train at our events. By working along side you guys and identifying what we believe teams need will help in the long term of not just the teams, but the industry as a whole. Obviously this new development will be a drain on financial resources but we believe it is what is needed if we are all going to move forward. Rather than look at a short term fix by hiking the prices up which would help recover the investment quicker, we would rather look at it as an investment that will reap the long term benefits of more stable platform for teams to progress and us to grow as a company and enable show piece events like Blackpool to be viable. We are building for the future of the sport, rather than the short term boom and bust agenda.
We have no guarantee's for success, but we will give it everything as paintball is something we love as a company and its that which gives us the motivation to excel and put on the best events we can.
Keep your eyes posted on this thread as ill add more info as it develops. Any querries/probs etc the usual chanels are available. Anything on the other CPPS threads is now old news, this is the thread for the current info.
