Best punter site in the UK?

Basically i'm getting married in the summer and want to take some mates 'ballin for my stag do. I've been playing for 17 years but mainly tournaments for most of that time. My favourite site ever was Top Gun at Pyrford in the mid 90's - a four storey hospital converted into a paintball site. :D

So, now where is the best punter site in the UK?

A few criteria:
- has to have 'proper' buildings (bricks and mortar),
- has to have high quality equipment particularly goggles,
- preference for Southern sites but prepared to travel,
- has to have decent food at lunch,
- anything else?

Please post your suggestions!

First of all congratulation on soon to be tieing the knot ..

Not sure but i think Lasham might still be running, if so im sure that had brick building etc..

Contact Wizbit on the forums as i know he used to play there abit..

Failing that im sure others can shed some light on this place..

UCZ next to trago mills in newton abbot, devon is a damn good site.

Friendly staff, good eqipment, good fields, hot food and drink served at lunchtime, and often a few fun game centered around the stag ;)

seriously i love this site, if i were you id get down there :)

Carl - Skirmish Lasham appears to still be running according to the website. I've played there a couple of times and they were great. Haven't been there for a while and it was one i was thinking of.

Sam - thanks. Good recommendation. I know it well. Next time you're there tell Syd that Stan says hi.

Stan - what about Campaign? Still ranks as one of the best sites in my eyes.

Plus the Wurzel Bash was the spiritual home of ML ;)

Exile - who are you? ;) Yep, Campaign's on my list as well!

BGB - i take it that's Weekend Warriors at Reading?


My top two sites ever were Top Gun as in my original post and one i never even went to. It's one of my main regrets in paintball - never going to Hot Shots at RAF Greenham Common.
