The person was my mother, and the item was a TV.

So I figured that if a TV was that important to her, she could have it, as I didn't want the police on my back just for that.

Consequently, I cut all contact with her and have not seen or spoken to her for about 17 years.

I don't think this was a matter of backbone, more of a case of my family stabbing me in the back.

Every case turns on its own evidence. You do what you think is right.

I'm not sure I am tho...... I don't think I got anything against people being gay as against those gays that are in yer face, telling everybody they are proud to be gay, blah blah blah !!!!
I don't feel the need to march thru a London street with a banner proclaiming 'I'm proud to be straight' ..... it all smacks of a massive dollop of insecurity to me ...

Yes he did, and I was one of them ........ the only ones he has now are in his mind ..... the team he is associated with, all think he's an arrogant dick, his associates likewise ...... he has been the sole architect of his own demise but because of his pathology, is unable to recognise as much.

Sad really ..... but even tho it's sad, he knew full well what he was doing every step of the way - even when things were laid out for him and the best course of action was blatantly obvious, he still elected to succumb to his pathology.
