Ego 11 or XI or whatever its designation?

So as Eclipse have already developed a drop in kit etc for .50 cal
What are the odds that the next Ego is going to be fully .50 cal?

Id say very unlikely indeed.

Planet have knocked up a 50 cal insert and taken it to the cup. They obviously plan to try 50 cal out for themselves.
I wouldnt read any more into it than that.

They are too smart to jump on a bandwagon this prematurely.

Well the Impulse50 is being promoted, plus there already seems to be a push for adoption in the UK and then considering next Ego is not theoretically due for 12 months...........

Planet have made a drop in kit, but these kits have not gone into production yet, never know, they might not need to.
A wise move from planet, playing a waiting game just like most of us here.

that seems very...premature to produce the ego 11 already since the 10 has just started to be sold.

Could this not imply that planet have not spent as much time improving and re working their gun?

or is it just that the ego 10 is at the top of technology full stop so they have simply given the 11 a new look and a new name and in fairness, a bigger price tag?
