There'll be a noticeable switch of tourney players to recball/big games.

Im half agreeing here
UK teams abroad will start making bigger waves and this will ripple down into the UK tourneys. Academy teams will crop us giving a wider support network and consistency (rather than a 100 new teams being created and quiting). Paintballers will continue to want things better and cheaper and moan even more. UK ball will take a step forward with support from players and industry alike.
Some big pro teams and manufacturers will close their doors.
Damn my pessimistic side.
My hopeful predictions for 2010 are :-
1. Bon learns when to be quiet and keep his mouth shut just in time before Buddha throttles him.
2. UK paintball gets back on its feet.
3. Gassy deletes more than 11,324 posts in the classified section alone.
4. Piper does more than 50 marathons by April ..... oh sh!te, sorry, they call them Snickers now.
5. P8nt finally gets its long awaited overhaul as long as Bon manages to stay alive.
6. jeff abbott's still a thieving scumbag.
7. A new tournament circuit emerges to compete with the Millennium (wishful thinking).
8. The world of paintball goes back to 7 man in an uncharacteristic blinding flash of commonsense.
9. As a consequence of 8. the retail industry starts to recover.
10. As a consequence 8. the pro players manage to extract their heads from their anal passages and escape from La La Land into a torrent of self-recrimination and shame.

you'll see the same old arguments about how the tournament scene should be changed to suit the current trend, while rec/woods ball continues to make money and expand in the same format since the dawn of time.

Tom, I'm glad to see you noticed the lack of capitalisation I always try to use when referring to life's scum.oh yeah nearly forgot, jeff abbot's a ****.
I figure that since jeff abbott had decided to steal from someone who had always helped him, the least I could do was to return the favour and show my complete lack of respect [and a lot more besides] ... hence no capitals when I refer to the thief.
