well if he goes for the eos.. hey he might aswell buy a shocker

he can buy my ion off me for 130, mine is special ill even do a full setup, for 170 (ion, bottle and hopper)

I can't really think of anything good to say about the stock ION XE... an upp'd ION may be different, but mine just felt cheap....
The vibe is supposedly very good, and the upgrade board, QEV and eyes are not that expensive... but then thats about it, new board, new ASA, new barrel and then you are stuck for mods.
But i would go for the Vibe Blackheart which should only just be more expensive than a new XE and it should shoot a lot better.

the Vibe is really reliable compared to the standard Ion (not got XE)But the trigger frame is really weak mine snapped on a bunker after two weeks I own both gat's got 2 Ions and a Vibe and if I had to choose again i'd go for neither of them you'll throw your life savings at them in upgrades just to get features that are standard on most markers and still be outgunned save an extra £50 and avoid SP unless you love spending you life fitting boards
It's worth a mention tho that of all my markers the Vibe is always carried to the field in case i need a backup for it's money it really isn't all that bad dead simple (no eyes) and it has never yet let me down which I wish I could say about my other markers also if it rains i grab my vibe for that price who cares if it breaks
