A company was contracted to polish a B-17, you can see what they managed to do with 50lbs of polish and a couple days of work.

First thoughts when looking at the first pics top of page, was, thats a clean job.

Then realised what they achieved after scrolling down page. The mirror finnish is really something.

Biggest job we ever put through was a 1930's fire engine, a Dennis 70ft ladder pump/escape. It had been sitting in the back of a warehouse for years and all the brass was nearly green, not to mention the dull paint and upholstery in the open cab.

The guys had a real sense of achievement and pride in their work after that one, not to say that they ever wanted to see one again.

so it was you lot i did here about this, few years back ? and worst or best i have done was 3 helicopters at Bristol airport, took over a week. but was great fun
