I heard she did. And even if she didn't make extra donations, she will have paid national insurance.

The NHS was predicated on the principle that everyone pays into it according to their means (kind of goes against my Marxist quip earlier :rolleyes:) and it's there when you need it. Nowhere did it say, but if you've got a few quid and end up seriously ill you'll owe us extra.

i know some of you may not agree with this and i know cancer is horrible
but i dont agree with the way she is exploiting her own death for money, it may be for her children and thinking of it that way i can see why she is doing it but more important people die everyday (soldiers for example) and they dont get a tv show and million pound magazine deals

I wonder how much Max Clifford made out of all of 'this'? (yes - that was sarcasm!).

Anyway, Jade Goody died. She wasn't the first - and she won't be the last. She did, however, make a **** load of money before she died (by whatever means necessary). A lot of that money has been donated to various charities as well. As Froggy pointed out - we'd all do exactly the same in her situation - given half the chance.

So, let the people who want to grieve for her (for whatever reason) grieve and let's all move on.

Soldiers don't get fame, we get history. It's like fame but lasts much longer.:cool:
