Hi , i used a Co2 bottle to check that i did not have any leaks after a full reg an lp servise . All i did was hold the co2 bottle up right so the threads were facing the roof and screwd my ego onto it so that no liquid could vent through as it would all be at the bottem of the bottle, or have i made a huge mistake

are you serious? Nowhere in the manual does it say use CO2 with a ego 8 marker.

What is happening to the marker now? Seriously, leave it alone and let me or someone have a look at it next weekend.

That's right, let's all have a good laugh.

Seriously, as long as NO LIQUID is drawn into the regs, a couple of shots just to test for leaks is unlikely to do any harm. Trying to actually play with CO2 is a good way to wreck things quickly, but if you're only drawing enough to air up the system I can't realistically see much harm coming to it.

calm down its all ok , there wasnt alot of preasur in the bottle , and i only aird it up and did not fire it so it shouldnt have damaged any thing . if it has then its my fault for being stupid i will know next time not to do it .
