G3 or Angel A1?

Hi,

Im looking to change my PMR to either of the G3 or Angel A1 sometime after christmas, just wondering which is "better".

How easy is the Angel to maintain? It looks a little complicated, which also makes it quite cool in my book, yet I would rather a low-maintenance marker.
Both can seemingly be had for around £300 (Angel being used, G3 brand spanking) which is the most Im willing to spend after I sell the PMR.

G3 has i think 6 o-rings in the entire gun, and to lube it you remove the bolt (with a simple allen key) and also the lube on the inline reg (1 o-ring)

so to lube it all it takes about 10 mins MAX!!

Also need to clean eyes which is just remove the eye plates and clean the eyes.

so to clean and relube the entire gun, its about 15 mins.

Whereas to lube an A1 all you need to do is put a couple of drops of oil in the macro line or ASA and dry fire it. Also, you won't have any issues with changes in gun rules or rates of fire as the board is fully programable and updates for the software can be downloaded from the Angel website and installed in the gun via a digital camera USB lead. Plus, with the Magno Valve & Fly Ram it is super efficient.

Your choice, both are Good value for money.

i put a drop of love juice (angel oil) in the asa after roughly 10 boxes.
to clean the eyes its 1 allen key to remove ( providing the one you buy has 3 peice eye covers, a must by the way)
thats about it.
if u do wanna strip it down to give it a complete service the manual contains all u need - peice of pee to do
have never fired a g3 but doubt it would be as kind to fragile paint as the a1 and if u do get real problems the guys at LIPS can sort anything

having shot them all and owning 2 of them get the angle mate pmr and g3 good but angel will do you good ! make sure you get a low pressure tank, as a hpr tank is not good on the angel !

Mate buy a angel they are one of the best high -end guns around.

They have all settings on paint everything eles.

The Bolt has rubber on the ends of it soo its soft on paint like a baby's bottam.

G3/a1

hi mate ,I have both guns but was'nt happy with my a1 until I put a virtue board in it and now it rocks with the g3 you would need the up grade board just waiting to have the board put in , I will let you know once I get it back other wise the g3 is a good gun they are bring out a special edition with the upgrade board in the gun plus other bits and new colours
