I am having big problems logging onto the p8ntballer forums, it comes up with the message:

My friend has logged onto the forums from a different address, at the same time as me and not got this message.

I have also taken my laptop to my friends house and logged on as normal, so I know it can't be my account or security settings.

Just wondering if my IP address for some reason has been blocked?

One of the issues I found is that a while ago to help some people access the site, they were advised to add this line

"83.138.155.160 www.p8ntballer-forums.com"

to

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

This line is no longer valid

This file can be opened in notepad and if you see a line like the above referring to P8ntballer all you need to do is put a "#" at the beginning of the line, save the file and restart your browser

and for any smart arses I am logged in at work...........

Get your ISP to refresh your connection at their end, that may help.
