I recently purchased a ego 5 with star frame played about 2 or 3 games with it and it started to leak, i have stripped it down totally and still cant find the problem, the air leaks slightly from the hole just under the feedneck.
I have looked threw all the stickies on various forums and still cant find the problem! There is a few small marks on the noid where the previous owner over tightened the hybrid grip screws but am 99% sure its not the noid (i have also made sure that the air does not leak from the noid). It hold air and only leaks when it is gassed up once the gas is off it holds what gas is already in it, when you remove the cure bolt it gets louder.
When i have took it to bits and put it back together it doesnt leak until i fire a shot off then back to square 1.
Could the reg be somik to do with it as this is the only thing i have not took totally to bits, only unscrewed it from the trigger frame.
The problem started when i tightened up the screw that holds the reg to the main body as it was a little loose.
The marker still works and doesnt drop off or anything but leaks so there is obviously a problem. I have checked the small brass screw where the rammer hits the little bar type thing and it looks fine as does all the o rings, the qevs look fine as does the hoses, i have stripped it, oiled it etc about 15 times tonight and still cant work it out.
When i put my finger over the hole just below the feedneck it the leak stops
