Cure is shaped at the back
stock 06 has no Orings on the front nor does the nexus.
Has it got 2 Orings on the front? Bit hard to tell from the pic
If so I think someone has had an attempt to make a cure out of an 05 by adding Orings to the front.

it has 2 o-rings on the front and its the same shape as my stock etek bolt at the back and if it is home made it looks like theyve done a real job at doing it

yeah it has an oring at the front, hard to see but it definetly does

Orings on the front came in with the cure,
Cures were cut to the same shape as an 07 body on the back and resale ones were different again on the back.
It may be an ETEk 2 bolt but to be honest not sure what they look like (havent taken much notice )

nope not etek 2, as ive got one myself, and ive been looking for a cure bolt and this is how this came up.

the etek2 bolt is really plain, no groove at the front, and no orings anywhere

As I remember it is one of the Cure Bolt "prototypes". Used and battle tested by major sponsored teams in 2006 long time before the first Cure (SL66) was released.


Bolt face was designed like the original Cure (long ramp, 2 O-Rings, longer detent slots...). Back of the bolt was stock Ego6 design.

I have had one in my marker for the last 2 years (didn't know that's what it was though, oooh I feel special now), and it has worked excellently, no problems, so you should definitely be ok to use yours, if it is the same as mine.

Yes, comparing to this, it is exactly the same except the rear end.
