Why paintball has to be an Olympic Sport!

The Olympics were originally designed to mimic the games of ancient Greece with events that simulated the traits necessary to excel as a warrior. In modern times, being able to wrestle isn't nearly as important as being able to shoot. Maybe paintball, then, is a better modern-day way to give reverence to the original theme of the games than anything else.

Apart from the fact that the ' Paintball at the Olympic's ' topic has been done to death,we can't even get anyone from TV land to take it on board, so what chance of the Olympics ?

Harking back to the ideals of the original Olympians is at best a bit lame. If only because the original Olympians performed in the nude.

A friendly peice of advise. I foolishly mentioned TV. Please don't even think about starting a thread about it.

You'll get slaughtered and will have to rescued by the 'Fun Police' and you don't want to be rescued by them.

I don't think that makes a blind bit of difference.

for it to happen we need three things :

1 - be play'd be 80% of the worlds countrys ( not far off )
2 - have a governing body if not accouple that work together. ( never will work )
3 - be classed as a sport ( needs both of the aboth )

if you can get those three things to happen, you may stand a chance of getting paintball into the Olympic.
