newish newb needs help

hi, im looking to getting my own gear and need help, been looking around for ages i like loads of markers going to be playing woods and supair, but just seen this but not sure what sort of price i should pay as ive not looked at second hand stuff, looks to me like a good lot of kit and would only need a bottle, any help be great thanks

If I was you mate I would buy stuff off the for sale threads on here rather than use EBay your get a better deal and better kit.

how much do you think u'll be playing paintball each month? if you have a proper team that wants to train hard i find that the highend electro markers are what everyone uses as you can use them on woods and air fields.

If your going to only be playing on like walkons i wouldn't spend more then around £250 on a gun, get a good bottle and a hopper with a lid aswell if your not going to be doing this once in awhile as the speedfeed sucks in rainy conditions and if you don't play that regularly then theres nothign wrong with a good old lid

battle packs and about 6 pots shuold be plenty for now until you get into tourney's where you need lots of pods (or a pod bitch)

Got a upgraded shocker nxt f/s if you wanna buy it off me aswell ;D

have a look at minis great for both wood and sup air
they at a good price aswell from lips or get them off hear for about 130

yeah the mini's are good but if u get a chance have a look at the ego's 05/06 cause u can get them for around £200 and they are well worth it, i have an 05, but if you are gunna do a lot of woods balling getting an ion wouldn't hurt

yeah thought about that theres one on ebay i messaged to see if it was in the sale and it is, so might have a dabble on it, not sure what to pay is my problem not seen many 2nd hand ions about, this has new body kit and tanked grips im waiting for pics

problem with ebay is no one is allowed to sell paintball markers on the uk site, so they tend to get spotted and deleted by ebay staff.

yeah the marker is not listed for sale in the add, but the pic and write up makes you want to ask, clever way of doing it i suppose, i did use a mates ion for woods not long ago and felt good so yeah im leaning towards the ion

if u want an ion i can get in touch with a friend who has been meanin to sell his for ages its hasn't been used much and fires fine, i think he'd give it away for about £80, if you interested in the ego's u can pick one up on this forum for about £200-230, another option is importing from america as i have an epiphany i picked up of punishers pb for bout £130 including postage which is about 4 days
but still have a look at the dm5,6 and the pm6-8 cause their not bad but personally the ego for me every time
but i wouldn't buy paintball stuff off ebay
