came to take my air off today and the bottle was pretty glued in there, after trying to turn from the reg it didnt work, bottle was full but i quickly emptied it.

the reg itself has started spinning itself out of the bottle instead.

to me this seems bad lol

any advice on what i should do? its welded in there though!

Sometimes air gets trapped in the bottle adapter and the pressure makes it difficult to unscrew. That's why on/offs with bleed valves are useful, as they release the pressure when you turn the ASA "off". In terms of fixing your problem, I have no idea! But the fact that the reg has begun to unscrew itself from the bottle is not good. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a professional, like one of the guys from HPAC or a dive shop. If there's a Masters of PA on this weekend, maybe go along and ask the HPAC guys or one of the techs there?

took the on/off off gonna get some grips on it and check for x threading

just out of interest how much would a new reg and on/off same as this one be?

he said there was 3000psi in the bottle when the reg unscrewed itself from the bottle, when you screw aluminium into aluminum a bit quick it tends to stick and in worse cases weld itself together
