Thats true, and you will find if you look for a specific rule saying X is not allowed and it is not there you can not assume it is.
I did see Edwards use a smoke bomb at an event once, well funny.
The PA rule book had a great catch all rule "unsportsmanlike conduct" that we stole from the Football Association rulebook.
So if in the opinion of a referee a player did something they believed was unsportsmanlike they could bring penalties to bear.
This season of course we are trying to use to Millennium rulebook.

If I remember rightly think that was at the Welsh Open - was funnyi seem to remember chris edwards setting one off in a tournament before..
so it might be in the pa rules now

God did i get a grilling for allowing him to use it - was it worth it? hell yeah funny as hell.
